Taking my family to a game at Scotland Yard. We enjoyed two innings before the 18-month-old started getting squirrelly.

cleaning and scrubbing down my pond, cutting back my ornamental grasses, and culling leaves and acorns from the parkway ivy. I was not in the mood to do all this, but the timing is critical this time of year. Because of this, I noticed an unusually large amount of d-bags cruising by in their convertibles with their playmates of the day. Very annoying indeed. Wasters.

Playing in one of our beautiful parks, which we had to ourselves because, according to my middle schooler, EVERYONE ELSE is snowboarding somewhere in Colorado or Utah. Poor kid.

@Sharpay, if it is any consolation my middle schoolers said the same thing. When asked to name names they could only come up with 4.
