Callahan — Shaw
Mr. and Mrs. Todd Furniss and Mr. John Callahan of Dallas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Gaden Callahan, to Jonathan Whitney Shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Whitney Shaw of Charlotte, N.C.
The bride is the granddaughter of Gail Framburg Elmore of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. David Elmore of Malibu, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Callahan of Cincinnati. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Kathleen Shaw and the late Mr. Ray Shaw of Charlotte, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. John Naylor Jr. of Pinehurst, N.C. The bride graduated from Highland Park High School and received her Bachelor of Science in public relations from the University of Alabama. She works for fashion designer Tory Burch in New York City.
The groom graduated from Charlotte Country Day School and received his Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Alabama. He works for Street and Smith’s Sports Group and Licensors, where he is the director for Rowdy.com.
The wedding is planned for June 2010 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
