St. Mark’s Wins Thriller Over Highland Park
St. Mark’s got a measure of revenge against Highland Park on Wednesday night at Highlander Stadium, handing the Scots their first loss of the season, 9-8, in overtime, in a rematch of last year’s state championship game.
The Lions (4-0) rallied for the win, which snapped an eight-game winning streak for the Scots, the two-time defending state champions.
St. Mark’s will look to remain undefeated when it plays host to Houston Strake Jesuit at 7 p.m. Friday.
