‘The Yellow House’ Tops List of Local Bestsellers

According to today’s Guide section of The Dallas Morning News, the novel penned by Turtle Creek resident and first-time author Patricia Falvey has taken the top spot in the list of local bestsellers. Her book, The Yellow House, is an interesting history lesson. It’s a first-person account of Northern Ireland’s turbulent quest for Home Rule from the eyes of Eileen O’Neil, an orphaned Catholic girl with plenty of strength and personal conflict. We had a lovely chat with Falvey a couple of weeks ago (notes from our discussion were in Park Cities Two). She checked in with me yesterday to say that her book launch at Legacy Books in Plano was a sellout. If you havent met Falvey yet, you still have a chance. She’ll have a signing at Good Eats, one of her favorite local hangouts, from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 11.
